SCW ARTISTS WITHOUT BORDERS

SCW stands for Silver Coast Winery, and Artists without Borders means, in this case, artists from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Canada.  

They began as a group of people who signed up for a class for artists who wanted to improve their skills to an advanced level. When the instructor could no longer teach, they felt they were a unique bunch who got along well together and learned from each other and wanted to stay a group.   

At first they called themselves "Artists without a Home" and  critiqued their paintings over lunch once a month. One thing led to another and here they are, painting together weekly, maturing  as artists and doing some very good work – worthy of hanging on the walls of  Silver Coast Winery.
