Welcome!
I’m so glad you’ve taken the time to visit my website.
I don’t paint to express my emotions—honestly, I doubt anyone wants to explore those! Instead, I paint to capture moments that make people smile, spark a memory, or stir a bit of joy. Inspiration finds me everywhere—from quiet beaches and open skies to the wildlife and landscapes I’ve encountered while living in coastal North Carolina, the Midwest, the Arkansas Delta, and now sunny Florida.
Each painting is a new challenge, a fresh opportunity to grow and improve my craft. What keeps me painting is the pure delight of seeing someone connect with my work—when a familiar scene or detail brings a happy memory rushing back, that’s my greatest reward.
I’ve studied at the Ringling School of Art and Design and continue to learn from exceptional artists through workshops and courses, including the inspiring Susan K. Black Foundation workshop in Dubois, Wyoming, where world-renowned wildlife artists share their expertise.
I’m proud to have been a member of the Oil Painters of America, the Waterway Artists Association, the Associated Artists of Southport, the Englewood Art Center, the Northport Art Center, the Venice Art Center , The Visual Arts Association and The Villages Art League.
